Did the Tour meet your expectations?
Not only did it meet my expectations but the visit exceeded them by far. Every person I met and place I visited was better than I could have imagined. My approach to visiting new places is to try not to have a list of expectations or points to check off but to relish meeting people and seeing for myself how things run and what the ambiance is like. I was pretty sure I would like Mumbai and Cochin and my interactions and experiences were wonderful.

 

What were your feelings before you started your tour to India and how do you feel now?
I have been interested in India (politics, cultures, food, history, etc.) since I was very young so I have been looking forward to seeing first hand how life in India is lived. I try not to have preconceptions before a trip so I was open to experiencing any and all of my surroundings. I feel in my 3 1/2 weeks visiting India that I got a sense of the diversity and amazing mix of cultures in the areas I traveled. Of course, my feelings now are curiosity and desire to see more and enjoy visiting other parts of India.

 

What was the highlight of your Tour?
I’m not a person who rank – orders locations or experiences on my travels. I loved the food and the differences in cuisine from area to area. The friendliness and warmth of the people I met impressed me.

 

What would you like to explore in India next?
There is so much more to see that I’m not sure where to start; probably the North and/or Northwest.

 

Any other suggestions / comments
The guys who took care of me in Mumbai were terrific. Jafar is a really wonderful Driver and just a nice kid.
