The Terms and Conditions given below govern the agreement between you,” the client”, and us, “Kumar Tours”. When you book a tour with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Reservation
Once we receive your booking request, our experienced friendly Indian Travel Experts will assist you in building a pleasant travel plan according to your special requirements and interests. We will advice you the availability.
Your reservations is secured only after receiving the advance booking deposit. Deposit is usually 25% of the total tour cost. Important: Full payment is required to be made at the time of booking for Luxury Train journeys, certain hotels and resorts and during peak seasons like Xmas, New Year, etc. Our representative will advice you the same at the time of booking. And 100% advance will be required for a booking made under 30 days of Travel date or start of services. The deposit is mandatory to hold the booking on confirm basis.
In case of issuing flight tickets on check fare basis, which is Non refundable, Non adjustable, we will require the full advance payment for the flight tickets.
Once your booking is confirmed, we will send you a confirmation letter with the proposed flights, hotels, and tours in details. Should any conditions change after the confirmation, Kumar Tours reserves the right to make changes and provide you with the similar alternative options. Sometimes hotels takes an Event booking or Wedding booking and may refuse to accept even a guaranteed booking, in any such conditions, we reserve the right to make similar alternate arrangements.
Payment
All payments to be made by Bank transfer to our Bank, as per Bank Details given to you at the time of booking. Any bank charges levied by the sending bank of your payment must be taken care of by yourself. Full payment must be settled by the bank before your scheduled departure date (or at any optional date upon mutual agreement); if not, all reservations will be canceled automatically.
Cancellation Policy
If you or any member of confirmed tour wishes to cancel the tour, you must notify us in writing, in any case the date of cancellation will be at the date on which we receive your written cancellation. As this may involve administrative cost and retention charges by hotel, The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:
31 – 59 days prior to arrival date –5% of the total amount payable penalty. Plus any Non refundable deposits for arrangements like flight tickets issued on check fare basis, train tickets etc.
22-30 days prior to arrival date –35% of the total amount payable penalty.
15-21 days prior to arrival date –50% of the total amount payable penalty.
0-14 days prior to arrival date –100% of the total amount payable penalty.
After arrival (or. without notice)–no refund.
An administration fee of $100 will be applicable for all cancelled tours.
Plus: additional cancellation fees, if applicable, imposed by the service providers other than Kumar Tours (may include but not limit to banks or other payment platforms, airlines, cruises, hotels, railway companies, etc.) will be deducted from the money refunded.
Traveler substitutions are considered as cancellations of reservations and are subject to the above cancellation fees.
After the trip commence, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services (may include but not limit to hotels, air or train tickets, meals, admission fees) due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.
Amendment or change of Itinerary
Before your booking is confirmed, adjustment to itinerary are happily processed free of charge, since it is our goal to offer you the best possible tour. However, after you receive the confirmation letter, any amendment will incur the amendment and cancellation charges. All changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Kumar Tours reserves the right to modify your itinerary if air schedule or surface transportation changes, and/or events beyond its control make such alterations necessary. In this event, any of the increase or reduction of the tour cost will be calculated and charged/ refunded accordingly. If it is you who request the changes, then you will be required to pay any additional cost in advance.
Passport , Visa, vaccination
A Valid Passport and Visa is your responsibility. Kumar Tours accepts no responsibility for any failure in this respect. You must clearly provide your full name on passport; otherwise we are not liable for any delays, transport failure. Also, travel insurance purchased in advance is strongly suggested for your own sake.
You should take into account all international travel risks and health requirements applicable to the areas you intend to visit. You are solely responsible for checking the governmental safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements in countries you are going to visit or transit.
Travel Insurance
It is suggest that you should purchase proper travel insurances before leaving your home country to cover a wide range of unexpected loss and damages.
Force Majeure
Compensation payments do not apply where performance of our contract with you is prevented by risk or threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, technical problems to transport, closure or congestion of airport or ports, cancellation or change of scheduled airlines and similar events beyond our control.
Complaints and Claims
Whenever you feel unsatisfied with any service Kumar Tours has provided, please inform your local tour guide or your travel consultant immediately to avoid similar problems either before or during your trip.
If you want to complain or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email or by phone within 15 days upon your tour is finished. Please attach relevant receipts and evidence to substantiate the letter of claim.
