Day 01

Arrive Delhi

Welcome to India! Upon your arrival at New Delhi Airport, our local representative will receive you at the arrival hall and escort you to your Hotel in an air-conditioned Car.  Our representative will help you with check-in process, brief you about your tour program and handover your entire tour related documents.
This day you would spend acclimatising yourself with the new time zone to begin your exciting journey from next day.

Day 02

Delhi

Delhi – Capital of modern India “The Heart  of India” . Many dynasties and rulers have flourished on its regal soil over the last 3000 years. The legacy still survives in many monuments varying from the 13th century mausoleum of the Lodi King to that of imperial India’s Parliament House and the President House. Where medieval palaces and bazaars exist beside a modern metropolis. Delhi is the city waiting to be explored, so enjoy!        
Morning Old Delhi city sightseeing visiting the Raj Ghat, the site where  Mahatma  Gandhi  was cremated;  Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India; and drive past Red Fort - once the most  opulent  fort and palace of the Mughal Empire. (Red Fort is closed on Monday)       
Afternoon New Delhi city sightseeing visiting the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar. Drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House and the President’s Residence and end the tour with a drive through Diplomatic Enclave.

Day 03

Delhi – Agra (210Kms / 4 Hours)

Morning leave Delhi and drive to Agra, en route visit Sikandra. Here you will visit the impressive Mausoleum of the Emperor Akbar the Great Mughal, a four storied building, three stories being red sandstone and the fourth of white marble.

Agra

Agra – The ancient city once the capital of Mughal empire in the 16th and 17th century, depicting a gorgeous panorama of majestic architectural creations and a rich tradition of art and culture. Housing one of seven wonder’s of the World,  the marble symphony of Shah Jahan “The Taj Mahal” . Discover the dazzling creations of their craftsmen in other architectural marvels in Agra, the quintessential Mughal city.
Morning sightseeing of the Taj Mahal (Friday closed) – one of the Seven Wonders of the World built by Emperor Shah Jehan in memory of his beloved consort Mumtaz Mahal. This beautiful mausoleum took 22 years to complete with a work force of 20,000. Craftsmen and master builders came from all over Asia to join in the great work – from Baghdad, Shiraz, Delhi, Samarkand and Turkey. The marble, India’s finest, was quarried at Makrana near Jodhpur. Precious and semi precious stones were imported from distant lands: Jasper from the Punjab, Jade & Crystal from China, Turquoise from Tibet, Lapis Lazuli from Afghanistan and Ceylon, Chrysolite from Egypt, Amethysts from Persia, Agates from Yemen, Malachite from Russia Diamonds from Golconda and Mother of Pearl from the Indian ocean.
Also visit one of the important architectural monuments in Agra - The Agra Fort built by Emperor Akbar, the maze of courtyards; mosques and private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.

Day 05

Agra – Ranthambore via Fatehpur Sikri (267Kms /6Hrs)

Later you will drive from Agra to Ranthambore en - route visiting Fatehpur Sikri. This deserted, red sandstone city, built by Emperor Akbar, between 1570 and 1585, now glows in its magnificent past.  Also visit the Buland Darwaza (The Gate of Victory), set in the south  wall. In the northern part of the courtyard is the superb white marble tomb of Shaikh Salim  Chishti, built in 1570. Legend says, Akbar was without a male heir, he made a pilgrimage to this spot, the saint foretold the birth of Akbar’s son, Jahangir. In gratitude Akbar named his son Salim.   Continue your drive to Ranthambore and upon arrival check-in at.

Day 06

Ranthambore

Ranthambhore wildlife sanctuary is known for its Bengal tigers, and is one of the best places in India to see these animals in their natural jungle habitat. Tigers can be easily spotted even in the daytime. The park's deciduous forests are characteristic examples of the type of jungle found in Central India. Other fauna include the Indian leopard, nilgai, wild boar, sambar, striped hyena, sloth bear, southern plains gray langur, rhesus macaque, mugger crocodile and chital. The sanctuary is home to a wide variety of trees, plants, birds and reptiles, as well as one of the largest banyan trees in India.

Day 07

Ranthambore to Jaipur (162 Kms / 03 ½ Hours Approx)

After breakfast drive for Jaipur.
Upon arrival in Jaipur, you are met and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 08

Jaipur

Jaipur - The capital of Rajasthan, this picturesque city is a symphony in pink, a color which symbolises hospitality in Rajput culture. Built by Raja Jai Singh in the 18th century it is surrounded by hills topped with rugged fortresses and dotted with fairy tale palaces. Ambling camels and brightly dressed peasants, reflect Jaipur’s desert heritage while teeming markets display a profusion of handlooms and crafts. Come visit the city of love, legends and lore.       
Morning enjoy an excursion to Amer Fort 12 kms outside Jaipur. The original palace was   built by Raja Mansingh the additions were made by Sawai Jai Singh. One of the finest example of Rajput architecture, it was the ancient capital of Kaisshawah rulers. Make your ascent to the palace fortress on the gaily caparisoned elephant back. Tour the chamber and hallways of the palace which are famous for their design and decorations. This unique capital of the erstwhile warrior kings is a must on every tourist itinerary to the state.
Afternoon city tour of Jaipur including the unique Jantar Mantar magnificent stone observatory built by Raja Jai Singh in 1728. The Hawa Mahal, the intriguing “Palace of Winds” is really a facade built in 1799, to allow royal ladies to view the city from the windows. Visit the City Palace, former royal residence built in a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal style and its museums an excellent collection of miniature paintings, costumes and armory.

Day 09

Jaipur – Udaipur  418kms approx 6 ½ hours

After breakfast drive for Udaipur en route visiting Chittorgarh.
Chittorgarh -There is no place in Rajasthan with a history more romantic than that of Chittorgarh. It was the center of Rajput resistance against the Mughal rule.  It was here that Sisodia Rajput warriors on many occasions gave up their lives - preferring death to dishonour. The glory of Chittorgarh is the Tower of Victory-Jaya Stambha erected by Rana Khumbha to commemorate his victory over Mohammed Khilji of Malwa in 1440.
Continue drive to Udaipur, upon arrival transfer to Hotel.

Day 10

Udaipur

Udaipur – is known of city of lakes and is one of the important cities of Rajasthan. Possibly no city in Rajasthan is quite romantic as Udaipur, even though the state is replete the fantastic hilltop fortresses, exotic fairy tale palaces and gripping legends of medieval chivalry and heroism.  Udaipur has been called the Venice of East founded in 1568 by Maharana Udai Singh following the final sacking of Chittorgarh by the Mughal emperor, Udaipur rivals any of the World – famous creations of the Mughal with its Rajput love of venctical and superbly crafted alleged. The Lake Palace is certainly the best late example of this unique cultural explosion, but Udaipur is full of palaces, temples and havelis ranging from the modest to the extravagant.  It’s also proud of its heritage as a center for performing arts, paintings and crafts.        
Morning, sightseeing tour of Udaipur. This is possibly the most romantic city in Rajasthan. There would be no doubt as to why it is called "the Venice of East". The city was founded in 1568 by Maharana Udai Singh. Udaipur is full of palaces, temples and havelis, ranging from the modest to the extravagant. Begin the tour with a visit to the City Palace. At this palace complex, you will marvel at the rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid marble balconies; and the peacock courtyard. Also visit the lovely Sahelion-ki-Bari gardens; the Jagdish temple; and the local folk museum.       
Evening, enjoy a motor launch cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. The beautiful Lake Pichola was enlarged by Maharana Udai Singh after he founded the city. The city palace extends a considerable distance along the east bank of the lake. From the boat you will be able to view the city of Udaipur as it rises majestically above the lake in the middle of the Rajasthan desert. One would get an interesting view of the Dhobi (laundry) ghats. Also visit the Jag Mandir Palace - a lovely island palace in the middle of the lake.

Day 11

Udaipur – Jodhpur (259 kms/5 hrs), via Ranakpur

Morning drive to Jodhpur (259 kms/5 hrs), en-route visiting Ranakpur. Visit the famous Jain Temple, dating back to the 15th century.   Its 29 halls are supported by 200 pillars, none of which are alike.  The Temple abounds with intricate friezes and sculptures. This tour includes visits to two more Jain temples and to the Temple of the Sun God, with its erotic sculptures.        
Continue your drive and upon arrival at Jodhpur check- in at Hotel.

Day 12

Jodhpur

Morning sightseeing tour of Jodhpur – the gateway to the desert beyond and home of the Rathors of Marwa.  Visit the Fort, rising up a hilly scrap, built on the advice of a hermit, which overlooks the city. Inside the Fort are a number of palaces, which have been added by a set of successive rulers. Visit Jaswant Thada. Also visit Mandore Gardens  -  the  ancient capital of the State of Marwar .The cenotaphs of  the former rulers are imposing and  architecturally  remarkable.

Day 13

Jodhpur – Delhi, by flight

Optional - Drive to a Bishnoi Village in Jeep and witness the simple but colorful living of the Rajasthani people living in the village. You will see thatched huts and homes and men wearing colorful turbans (head gear) and women in bright outfits working in their homes and fields with their Cattle. You will also see the temples and other places of worship. Enjoy a Short Camel Safari/Camel Cart Safari.

In-time transfer to Airport to connect flight for Delhi.
