Day 01

Arrive Kolkata

Welcome to India! Upon your arrival at Kolkata Airport, our local representative will receive you at the arrival hall and escort you to your Hotel in an air-conditioned Car.  Our representative will help you with check-in process, brief you about your tour program and handover your entire tour related documents.

Day 02

Kolkata

Morning sightseeing tour of Calcutta, a  city  which took  shape  with  the British  Empire  in  India.  The Victoria Memorial is the best introduction to that era. St. Paul’s Cathedral, Fort William, Raj Bhawan, and the High Court are all strongly British in character.  The Indian Museum has some priceless relics of ancient civilizations. Calcutta is a city with a soul, and one which many residences are very fond of.
Afternoon visit to Mother Teresa's Ashram.  The Missionaries of Charity was Mother Teresa's new order formed in 1950. Amongst their vows, is the promise "to give whole-hearted and free service to the poorest of the poor" This vow was put into action with the setting up of several homes.

Day 03

Kolkata – Bagdogra, by flight and drive to Kalimpong 80Kms /3Hrs

Morning in time transfer to Airport to connect flight to Bagdogra.
Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport you are met and drive for Kalimpong, check in at hotel.

Day 04

Kalimpong – Gangtok (5500 ft / 1676m) Approx 83Kms / 3Hrs

After breakfast proceed for half day sightseeing of Durpin Hill (which has the famous Zong Dog Palri Fo - Brang Monastery which belongs to the same Buddhist sect as the present Dalai Lama), Tharpa Choling Monastery, Thongsa Gumpa and flower nurseries.
Drive for Gangtok 83kms / 3Hrs.

Day 05

Gangtok

Full day sightseeing.
Rumtek Monastery, 24 kms from Gangtok was built in 1960 by His Holiness the Late 16thGyalwa Karmapa & this is a replica of the original Kagyurpa Monastery in Tibet, a must see for every visitor, the seat of the “Kagyu Order”. Behind the Monastery is the lavishly decorated Karmae Nalanda Institute of Buddhist Studies which attracts students from the world over. Here one can find the most unique religious scriptures & art objects of the world. Do – Drul Chorten (Stupa) which is one of the most important stupas of Sikkim, built by the head of the Nyingma order - Trullshi Rimpoche in 1945. It contains rare details of Dorji Phupa, Holy Books, Mantras and is encircled by 108 prayer wheels. The Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays) built in 1958 in traditional style, a renowned worldwide centre for the study of the Mahayana Buddhist philosophy & religion, a treasure house of rare “Thankas”, statues, over 200 Buddhist icons and prized objects of art & finally, Cottage Industry (closed on Sundays) and Enchey Monastery - built in 1910 on the site blessed by the great tantric master Lama Drutob Karpo, known for his flying powers, this monastery houses the monks of the Nyingmapa Order of Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 06

Gangtok – Pelling via Ravangla (115 kms 5 hour approx).

After breakfast drive to Pelling (Approx 115 kms, 5 hours drive) via Ravangla (6800 ft / 2072m) a small town And transit point to various destinations to south and west Sikkim situated at the base of Meenam hill (10300 ft). Visit to Tibetan Refugee Settlement Camp just above the town. Carpet centre where one can buy fine Tibetan style woolen carpets. Visit to Bon Monastery at Kewzing, 5kms from Ravangla which is one of its kind in Sikkim, a symbol of the determination of the community to preserve their religious traditions.
Upon arrive at Pelling and check in at hotel.

Day 07

Pelling

After breakfast visit to Pemayangtse Monastery(7021 Ft / 2139 m), just 2.5 kms from Pelling, built during the late 17th  century, it is one of the oldest & most important monasteries of the Nyingmapa order of Buddhism in Sikkim. Even today, it is only the monks of this monastery who enjoy the title of “Tasang‟ or pure monks. The monastery follows the Mindroling tradition & has 108 monks. The main attraction of the monastery is the wooden replica of Zangdog Palri, the celestial abode of Guru Padmasambhava, built by Serdup L Dorje
Rinpoche in 1971.  Rabdantse Ruins, Also visit Rimbi Falls, and Kanchendzonga falls, Khecheopalri Lake.

Day 08

Pelling – Darjeeling  (73 kms 4 hour approx).

After breakfast drive back to Darjeeling.

Day 09

Darjeeling

Get up early in the morning and set forth for a drive to Tiger hill to chase the dawn and see the stunning view of Mt. Khangchendzongha, the third largest peak in the world. Spend some time in the serenity at the Tiger Hill. Optional Ride to the UNESCO World Heritage Train. Operating on narrow gauge tracks since 1880s and providing an important transport link to various parts of Darjeeling hills and lower plains, the Toy Train is still unmatched when it comes to absorbing magnificent beauty of the mountains. Toy train joy rides operate from Darjeeling Railway Station. It's a 2-hour round trip from Darjeeling up to Ghum and back covering a total distance of 14kms. The train stops for 10 minutes at the Batasia Loop. At Batasia the train makes a loop around a wonderful manicured garden. The view of Darjeeling town and the snow peaks of Kanchenjunga from here are unparalleled. The War Memorial built in honor of the Gorkha soldiers who sacrificed their lives is located at the center of the Garden.

Visit Ghoom Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tibetan  Refuge  Centre (closed  on Sunday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock and outer view of nearest Tea Estate.

Day 10

Darjeeling – Bagdogra drive (70 kms 2 ½ hour approx) and fly to Kolkata

Morning in time transfer to Bagdogra airport to connect your flight for Kolkata.
